  • Before applying for the IBPS Clerical Examination-2017 candidates need to scan their photo and signature to upload them in the application form.

How to fill the Application Form?

Here, the detailed instructions have been provided for all the candidates to fill the Online Application Form for the IBPS Clerical Examination

  • Go to the official website of IBPS; ‘www.ibps.in’.
  • Open the link of ‘new registration’.
  • The application form will open just after you click on ‘new registration’.
  • The application form will ask candidates to fill their name, father’s name, date of birth, gender etc.
  • Candidate will also provide their contact information as their address, phone number with area code (optional), mobile number and most importantly their email address.
  • On the provided email address all further communications will be made from IBPS to the candidates.
  • Candidates will upload their scanned photo and signature on the application form.
  • In the last candidate will make the online payment of the examination fee.
  • After successfully registering online, system will generate a registration number and password which candidates will have to save for the further use.
  • Candidates are advised to take the printout of the registered application form either in the jpg format or in the pdf format.

Q.1. Unable to upload photo and signature what can I do?

Ans.The advertisement prescribes detailed guidelines for uploading the photo and signature .The candidates
are requested to refer to relevant clause of the advertisement to ensure that the photo and signature áles
meet the specification mentioned in the notification. The prescribed size of the photograph and signature
are also mentioned in this article.

Q. 2. I did not receive my IBPS Clerk confirmation page?

Ans: Email/SMS is triggered and the same is sent to the candidates on the email ID and Mobile number
registered by them in application form. Kindly check the same.

Q. 3. Payment debited from the account but i did not receive Registration confirmation?

Ans: Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-receipt and online application form. Please note that
if the e-receipt is not generated, online transaction may not have been successful. Then candidates are
advised to login again with their registration number and password and pay the Application Fees/ Intimation
Charges online. If candidate’s account is debited and the said transaction is also showing as failed, the
amount debited is expected to be credited to the respective account in the due course as per failed
transaction rules of the Banks.

Q.4:What is the status of my IBPS Clerk Registration?

Ans:a) If the candidate’s registration is successful he/she has to take printout of the application form with
the help of registration no. and password.
b) If candidate’s registration/ payment is not successful; Payment gateway is expected to refund the amount
in due course, if any. Kindly login again and make payment.

Q.5:By mistake I have submitted incorrect information (Date of Birth, Category, Name, Gender, Percentage of marks, address, mobile number etc.) can I make changes at the end after final submit?

Ans: No change in the data already registered by the candidate in the online application form is possible as
per the terms and conditions of the advertisement /notification. There is save and edit option available
through which changes can be made in the online application prior to submission before the last date for
registration. The candidates should check all the entries made by them and only then submit the
application.
